Living Well Off Member Dues

From pdf page 737 of this exhibit in the NY case, we get expenses charged by Tyler Schropp, head of NRA Advancement. This is part of the first page of a 13 page list.

$1,900 one-way airline tickets, $400-900 a night hotel rooms at a golf resort, $287 at the Davidoff of Geneva cigar bar, $172 for a one-day car rental, $4,500 for three nights at a Beverly Hills hotel. Those three nights consumed about 100 annual members’ dues; each airline ticket consumed about 40. The image above covers less than two months in 2016.

  1. Another example of the NRA nobility (officers and board) living exceptionally well off the dues, donations and hard work of NRA’s helotry (members).

  2. Benefactor Life member here. These crooks have made a mockery out of this organization, and WLP and all those who have been misusing funds need to go! So shameful, I quit giving money a long time ago. Even the American Rifleman, which I used to like so much, goes straight into the trash.

  3. Devil’s Advocate: Did he secure very large donations from coy philanthropists with these expenses? Ya gotta meet people where they are. And I like meeting and laughing at $-$$ fast food joints and miniature golf, while tightwad but still willing large-money potential benefactors like meeting at 3-star Michelin restaurants and world-class private golf resorts. Anyway, don’t get me wrong. WLP & Wife, WoodyPecker, Millie The Moocher, et. al. still did a lot of wrong by serially abusing our dues and the nonprofit structure.

Thank you NRAInDanger once again. I hope a Crocheted Quilts Rebellion happens this year (with some fire provided by a grudge against Susan LaPierre; it would make for good reading later, while NRA 3.0 continues the Great 2A Gun Control Rollback)
